Children need our Presence not only our presents.

What children need more.
The knowledge is indeed the basis of the humanistic evolution in education but not when it is alone without being escorted with personal will of spiritual/ethical communication with the students.
modern theories and electronic devices, new ways of approaching the gnostic material are so widely spread
nowadays and almost all schools and institutions are provided with them.also the moder generation educators are indeed familiar with the above products and skills but we seem to realise that our pupils/trainees are
more and more distant and indifferent during the lessons.
We ask why and try to solve this question in group dialogical therapies but still no adequate answer is to be given...and the solution seems to be obscure.
Here is the answer of the philosophicaly pedagogical approach:
It is time that teachers should start philosophising ie try to dig inside them and think and adopt the method of getting closer to the "cosmos" of their students.
Finding out that the children need not so much the technological presents but our presence in person and in their emotional field.
Yes technology is a very important add to our teaching procedure but when alienised from the humanistic interest becomes a cold robotic preaching which instead of attracting the spirit of the students it drives them to the opposite edge.
The question that may occure now could be this:Do we have the time needed in a classroom with 20-30 children to approach each one and spend our presence with them?
This could be answered as follwing:"When there is a will, there is a way"
Here are some tips on how we could do so:
~Making a board in classroom where the pupils could anonymously hang their needs, complaints, difficulties.
(this may be a bit riscy depending on the level and status of our attendees)
~Making questionaires every month or two where the children could write either anonymously or in name in which point they would like to be helped at.
(those questionaires are to be handed to the teacher)
~Dedicating a day per semester in each lesson when the teacher and the children could interactively give feedback to each other.
In this ways the classmates do come closer and see that all have more or less the same needs of ethical support an emotional communication. Moreover the teachers get to know better what their pupils are from inside out, correct their character and thus become better educators. At the begging and at last education should and can mean the pedagogy which is knowledge harmonically combined with pure interest for the inner cosmos of every student as well for the class as a whole group.
We know since the time we teachers were students that the way we were approached by out teachers inspired us or not to love or hate the lessons given by them.
And of course as we get even more and more modernised in technical things but still we must not forget that no matter how expensive or modern or "cool" a new present of technology in a class may be,no matter how well teachers know how to use it there still be the great need of the moral/ethical/spiritual connection that will help the technology to play its role the best possible way.

I am a Teacher,NOT a Preacher!!!

Teaching/Training is NOT  a preaching procedure. While modern preachers use cloudy ideas and features of speaking, true educators on the other hand should use the most specific and clear ways to both attract and open the mind, attention and will of their pupils/students.
As Confucius,Socrates and Russau proved we may learn by three methods :
~ First, by reflection, which is noblest
~ Second, by imitation, which is easiest/most common
~Third by experience, which is the bitterest,as it takes the most trying combined with patience and trust on our goals and on our teachers too.(Evolve me and I will learn=means experience)
This is one of the most important tasks we as teachers/trainers have:To help our pupils/students not to get poisoned by experience but grow and mature through it.
How?I think by envolving them with the right examples from our own learning experience and from own way of “moving” in the educanional environment(classrooms, articles, speeches, presentations).
Of course one learns firmer through their own mistakes but we teachers have the sacret duty to be there and  lend a handwith which we will manage to soothe the often hard experience of our attendees.A so-called spiritual medicine is the talking and dialoguing with our students using philosophical quotes that either were said by us or by famous and recognized personas of Education. And there are a large amount of them, indeed.
Moreover we spicy up the nature of our lesson by such usage and we also actively show that we too keep on teaching ourselves first of all.Plus when we step on such interaction in the classroom apart from evolving the biggest possible number of our students, apart from making innovative teaching(and not stale preaching) we bond ourselves with the rest of the spiritual people existing and with us our students tie themselves up on this wonderful chain of learning. This is what Positive Learning means, that leads to knowledge as a whole thing.
It is also true that philosophy is a safe and well known key to Intelligence as well. But this happens when it is used  in their every day teaching.
Education-and not only-Intelligence has (or should have...) direct correspondence with the ethics and emotional stability of a person..ie we can consider one as intelligent when they have found the largest percentage on ballancing Mind(knowledge), Heart education(emotions) and Consciousness(Humanistic based and motivated ethics/ideals).Otherwise no matter how bright a brain is ...if the deeds correspond only to knowledge for knowledge itself and nothing more..I humbly believe that we are neither teachers nor learners nor smart complete beings…but  Awakers. The point is to be educators as a whole and not  preachers spreading false “prophesies” for a better future for our trainees.Try it in your classes and trust me the result will be such a worthy payment” for all !
(*Awaker in the terms of the branche called “educational philosophy” means the Supreme Whole Teacher)

Drama lesson:the "hidden" Philosophy !

HOW CAN DRAMA LESSONS IMPROVE THE CLASSROOMS' LEVEL
It is common truth that humans learn by imitating(ie infants from their parents.pupils from their teachers etc) in many ways such as language, thinking, speaking, ethics and so on.
A teacher is often called a spiritual parent among their children and as N.Kazantzakis said:“True teachers are those who use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students
to cross; then, having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create their own.”
A good and useful way to approach the students' method of learning-among others-is the combination of ideas/knowledge skills and stories/alligories.
Stories ie drama, from ancient times is considered to be a good "sghool"(as our ancestors used to say). Many information can be easily transfered from trainers to teir students through drama
and written acts-dialogues.If we could make an epitom on the usefulness of Drama we could mention :
~Through well known-classic writtersstudents come closer to a better language level,as they have the unique chance to make big an improvement on their vocabulary, enrich their expression
in writting and speaking and at the same time get familiar with pieces of literature.
~traditional teaching alone can be boring and old fashioned, while using drama into a classroom students take more an active partin learning. It is very likely that can identify themselves with
a hero of the drama story that they have in front of them as a mental/training food.
~We can also surely state that the mental feedback and interaction between students is well estblishedby taking roles and thus they can communicate nicely and firm the spiritual bonds
both between them and their teacher as well.
~We should add the idea that drama could be a motive for many students to cultivate their inner need of writing their own thoughts and experiences through such drama dialogues.
~Learning is more fun through stories and drama in general. The teachers show to their trainers-students that he is a learner too and finds new mental things and ideas in adding knowledge .
In this way they come closer to the souls of their children.
~Drama can be used in all student levels and ages(from kindergardens to Universties)...and this is the so-called "magic" about it!It givestomthe teachers and students the chance of Adaptability
in the procedure of teaching-learning feedback via a new method of tutoring and participating.
So we can conclude by saying that it worths to try teaching in a more "artistic way" and why not follow a more open minded pathway such as Drama.

"Logos":The Triptych of logic as a social guide.

Language

Logic/Rationalism                           Reason/Cause

How and why this triptych can/or should be a social guide for our life’s policy.
~At first when humans started communicating(ie creating communes->societies) more effectively(apart from signals and mere sounds) they created the nominations(sounds with specific meanings)for everything surrounding them. That is their created the well know term “language”àa communicational code that certified the strong bonds within the first primary human communities and up to now this linguistic code
~As a second step is the “logic” that comes as a precondition for the invention/creation of the linguistic code(ie language). That means in simple terms that one must have a logical/rational chain of thoughts and ideas(visions for some)so as to express them with this very bonful code and thus pass them to other fellow speakers. So the language as”logos” creates/motivates its holders’ minds both to think and express the outcomes of their rational mind blending.
~As a rational result(the 3rd corner of the schematic triangle above) is the interpretation named Reason/Cause(even motive).it is common truth that when we use the Logos as Language ie as logical structural and meaningful way we have either a Reason or a Cause to act so.Automatically  the double “Logos” term takes its 3rd and conclusive image.
Of  course this connection of these 3 siam-brother terms can and does function also the other way round:
1->2->3<=>3->2->1

Philosophy? Why?

It is a commonly accepted fact that Philosophy as a concept and and as accupation pulls its birth since the moment that there is human history, that is the "protoleia"--> first written forms of human memory.
Listening to the term Philosophy, perhaps in our mind come some questions worth mentioning in order to reach it in the best possible way:
  ~ What is Philosophy?
~ Is it worth someone engaging with it?
~ Is it only theories or  is the springboard-epivasi-motive for  similar-analogical-corresponding projects and actions?
~ In which areas of human activity can Philosophy be  immediately and practically active,(i.e.in which areas and situations in life can we make use of it?)
~ When can we safely say that one is "allowed" to deal with the study and application of Philosophy?
~ What is the philosopher(i.e.what kind of person is/should be):
  {a} a rigorous unity / undeniable authenticity?
 {b} a continuous-never ending  learner?
{c} a spiritual dispenser and simultaneously powered, that is a "feeder and an eater" of a spiritual feedback?
~ Should / must have a Philosophy practitioner high aesthetic criteria and superior moral values?
~ Should Philosophy both as a value and as a practical matter   be the last helter in difficult times/ dead ends or an "oiakas"--> steering wheel for the ship called  conscious life?
Philosophy is a safe steering wheel for the ship called  conscious life

Once a Teacher-Always a Learner !

Almost everyone could gain by consulting appropriate people about how to become a better person. Have the courage to ask for advice.Pointing on education and teaching I was about to say that taking advices from the experienced ones is both a duty and a priviledge for the good teacher and pupil as well....ie teachers and pupils should not be egoistically behaving in order to obtain the best results.and in this way we do become healthier in mind...when we are in humility brave enough to ask for advise, then this shows our quality...moreover it shows that we are real taechers/trainers as first of all WE are infinite learners ourselves...
Teachers showing respect and "bending"first infront of their pupils/trainees have much more possibilities to be followed and accepted by their audience. Thus they can pass the knowledge through with greater a success in a greater ammount of minds.
Once a Teacher-Always a Learner !

If only closed minds came with closed mouths...what a heaven!!!!

Pointing negatively on others either because of egoistic ignorance or because of narrowmindness(which is a sister of the first...)can create huge obstacles not only to individuals but to societies as well...Unfortunatelly we are staying in lazyness into our so-called comfort zone that "allows" us to sit on the throne of authentici
ty and put in our finger the ruby ring to point and judge others without a second thought...
One of the biggest problems that characterises "humans" is this:the lack of respect and the overfed ego that gives us the right to easily put labels and create the general stereotypes for people and situations...
Sadly this happens very often in the groups of the educated people that find themselves not as teachers but as dictators in the eyes of their attendees...
How can we train the grown-up trainers ie how can we convince them that the old teaching methods and the status they claim to have is to be won day by day no matter what their age is? It is wisely said (in an alligorical manner of course) that due to the ego we humans have lost the Paradise..and for a teacher a sign of Paradise should be the nice feeling among them and their pupils as well as basically among their knowlwdge-spirit and consciousness...
